A few months ago, Jacob and I were talking about brothers and sisters and family. I had said, "Chris, Hannah, Nick, and
Nevaeh are
your brothers and sisters. Aunt Cindy, Aunt Karen, Aunt Gloria and Uncle David are
my sisters and brother."
Jacob says, "I wanna go see Uncle
Rilla!" I'm not sure how David translates into Gorilla but, hey, he's 3!
Friday night, we went for a visit.
This is their dog, Daisy. She loves to play.

My sister-in-law (my brother's wife) had one huge rose in bloom. I couldn't resist!

"Come on, throw my ball!"

"Wait, Daisy. Wait!"

"Give!"

That's my brother, in the red and his daughter, Brooke (she's 13) in the blue.

And we walked down the road a little bit and saw some horses, a donkey, some fuzz footed chickens, a kitty, and these turkeys sitting on the fence.

Uncle David also gave Jacob a new hat - with a pumper truck on it!!
Thanks Uncle Dave, Aunt Jenny, Brooke and Daisy! We had a lot of fun!
That is so awsome!! I can't believe how old Brooke is already.. WOW how time is flying. Great pics. I love the rose pic. Jake needs a dog, you can tell he really loves them. I hope everything will work out for him, and his allergies so he can have one some day. I thought Dave was Jeremy, wow they could pass as brothers. Thanks Gail, I love looking at your pics of your family.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny - David has more hair but, they wear the same size shoes, shirts, and pants!
ReplyDeleteWe're talking about a dog next Christmas. Part of the trip to Dave's was to see how/if Jacob reacted to Daisy. You can see how close they were and he did fine.
We think the allergies to Katie were the combination of long hair, humane society smell, and dirty dog.
