I'm sharing my visit to Marshall. Actually, I'm sharing with you my Christmas gift from my sister. Granted, it was a little early but, I have to say, this was one of my best Christmas gifts ever! I really enjoyed spending that time with Karen and I hope we can do this again next year. Thank you, Karen.
I couldn't take pictures inside ANY of the homes but, I did have fun outside!
We didn't tour this home. I couldn't resist the little orange roadster.
On the porch of home #3.
Walking back for lunch.
Karen and I really liked the garden at this house. It wasn't on the tour either.
Inside the church where we enjoyed the salad smorgasbord. I said this before and I'll say it again - I love salads prepared by fine Christian women. Note to self: Arrive earlier next year. :)
I'm glad it all worked out that Cindy could come to meet Karen and I. We had lunch together and went on to the quilt show. I have a quilt in my living room that the three of us did together. I do like quilts - I don't have the time for them that I'd like to have...I also have a little BIG helper. I did find some fabric that I fell in love with to start a new quilt for my bed (my other is torn and shaggy) and I've begun collecting. It's going to take me a long time to collect fabric for a king sized quilt!
I did put more pics on Flickr - you can get to them by following the link in the photo section to your left.
We're going to the Allegan County Fair tonight - more pictures to come!
My heart just jumped a little when I saw that tree with it's leaves changing colors. Oh fall, how I love you!
ReplyDeleteUnrelated to this post, you did a great job on Week 2! Keep up the good work.
